I am glad that the challenge allows you to wear your hair loose for a few days. I really wanted the twists to last but I did not like the fuzzy frizzy look. All I can say is thank goodness for headbands and hair clips. The other day I used a hair clip to cover up the flat twists on the side. It was really cute and I should have taken a picture of it. The next day I used a headband to cover the front portion of the style and let the back twists show, again I should have taken a picture.
I managed to keep these twists for 9 days which is saying a lot for me. Usually I’m changing my hair every 3 – 4 days. At the end of the 9th day I took those bad boys out and co washed in the morning. Using my whipped shea butter for moisture and some gel for hold the Fro is back for the next two days. Don’t know what the protective style for week 4 will be just yet.
I tend to get more compliments on the Fro than the twists. Usually when I do twists or coils people assume that I am starting locs (I’m not). So I guess the people will be happy for one more day.
