It took a total of 14 flat twist done on clean stretched hair to get this look. Before twisting I moisturized each section with my whipped shea butter mix then added a little flax seed gel to the ends to help set the twist. Placed a roller at the end of the twist to help curl the ends. Covered with a satin bonnet at night. In the morning I take out the rollers and untwist hair, finger combed and placed a bobby pin to hold down front area. For next day hair re-twist at night using whipped shea butter mix, roll ends and cover with bonnet.
I usually don’t do this but I wanted to feature my daughter’s back to school ‘do. I recently transitioned her from a relaxer. All of her relaxed ends are gone and she is now natural too.
This style was done on slightly damp hair using my whipped shea butter mix to create the braids. Used Elasta QP Design Foam and about 12 of the long and wide Curlformers to create her spiral ponytail. At night we cover with a satin scarf or bonnet and in the morning accessorizes with her favorite hair clips. I think I did a pretty good job on creating this look.
