Flat Twists and Two Strand Twists

This is the style of the week.

It was a challenge trying to do this style. I only had a little bit of whipped shea butter mix left in a container and a little bit of ORS lock of twist gel. I mixed the two together and proceeded to flat twist the front. By the time I reached the back of my head I was running out of the mixture so the two strand twists in the back are bigger than what I usually do. I did not use a comb to part the the back, next time I think I will just to get a more uniformed look to the twists. The mixture consisted of more gel than shea butter mix so these twists feel a little hard/stiff to me.
I have been refreshing them in the morning with a light spritz made up of aloe vera juice, water, hot six oil and 2 drops of peppermint oil. I like this mixture. When spritzed on hair and scalp it has a cool tingle to it and my scalp has not been itching at all. I plan on keeping this up for a few more days.
Until next time…
